How subscribers would use SpaceMobile.

AST SpaceMobile’s planned solution may not require switching cellular service providers. We’re working with mobile network operators around the world to provide optional connectivity to our satellites when needed. Plans may consist of day passes, monthly passes, monthly add-ons, or stand-alone plans.

Day Pass

Subscribers receive a text on their phone asking if they would like to turn on SpaceMobile services.

Monthly Add-On

Subscribers opt to add SpaceMobile as a supplemental service to their existing cellular plan for a fixed monthly rate. Users automatically connect with SpaceMobile’s network upon entering an area with weak or no traditional cell-site coverage. Unique options may be available for consumers and enterprises.

Standalone Plan

Subscribers in areas without reliable cellular coverage may use SpaceMobile as their primary network. Subscribers purchase phones and service through existing wireless service companies.

Emergency Connection

Mobile subscribers automatically roam from land networks to the space network. In the most remote locations, such as on rural farmland or in the midst of a crisis or natural disaster, people remain connected – without having to invest in or maintain expensive, specialized hardware.
